Tema Razavi


Mrs. Razavi co-founded Razavi Application Developers, Inc. in 1997 to deliver customer focused solutions through superior technology implementations.  She brings over 30 years of industry-government relations experience to managing Razavi’s operations and directing the strategies for growth to excel in meeting Razavi’s mission objective. 

From 1983 to 2003 she was the President of Nihon Information Company where she was a consultant and advisor to Nippon Telegraph and Telephone (NTT), Northern Telecom, US Department of Commerce, Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), GTE (later Verizon), Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPT) Japan, Communication Industry Association of Japan, and County NatWest Securities (Japan).  She was also the Director of Corporate Outreach for the American Foreign Service Association and was the Assistant Vice President of a DC- based lobbying firm.

She started her career working for the Ministry of Finance, Embassy of Japan in Washington, DC.  She served on the Board of Directors of the Washington Export Council for 5 years, including as Chairman from 2000 to 2001.  She is listed in the Who’s Who registries of Global Business Leaders and IT Professionals.
